This Sales Performance Reporting Analyst position is responsible for supporting the performance management & analysis of the International Card Services (ICS) business across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The position is part of the Performance & Insights (P&I) team and reports to P&I APAC Sales Manager.


Key accountabilities include:


1. Create Sales performance dashboard and analysis spanning all markets within the region. Expectations include:

  • Development and production of Sales performance reporting/dashboards

  • Frequent modelling and deep dive analysis

  • Ensuring dashboard quality and consistency

  • Provide insights and recommendations to key partners as required


2. Supporting projects & processes in areas such as:

  • Global, International & Regional initiatives

  • Regional Sales planning & forecasting processes

  • Annual individual and leader target setting

  • Annual scorecard design & alignment

  • Colleague engagement

  • Dashboard creation and maintenance

  • Cross-functional activities

  • Ad-hoc activities as required


3. Partnering with key stakeholders such as Senior Market leaders, business planners & analysts, Global / International P&I, Amex technology teams, Incentive Governance Design, Global Business Solutions, Product, Marketing, Enterprise Data & Analytics, Risk, etc.


4. Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timeliness in all activities and compliance with American Express Information Security Standards


Qualifications


  • Tertiary qualification required, Finance or Accounting ideal

  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Database skills are essential

  • Python, SAS, or SQL experience is a strong plus

  • Basic understanding of Salesforce ideal

  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills are essential

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality are crucial

  • Effective communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization

  • A team-first collaborative attitude is essential
